VERONA – Research continues for Carmelo Busti, the 68-year-old from Illasi (VR) who disappeared from home on 29 June. His car was found in the square of San Giorgio in Lessinia and his phone has been unreachable since June 30th. Furthermore, since Monday 4 July, there has been no news of Andrea Benedettia 33 year old living in Fosse di Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo.
Today, in agreement with the prefecture and the firefighters – as no news emerged that could tighten the field of investigation in Carmelo Busti’s search in San Giorgio in Lessinia – the Alpine Rescue of Verona, together with the other stations of the Venetian Prealps delegation , concentrated forces a Fosse di Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo.
Rescuers are beating all the paths and areas around the town, as well as the itineraries that go to Peri. The speleological rescue of Verona and Vicenza is also patrolling the karst cavities present in large numbers in the area. Firefighters and civil protection are also on site.

Andrea Benedetti, 33, has black hair and has been missing since Monday. On Facebook, his cousin invites anyone with news to come forward: “he lives in Fosse and left home last night on foot”.

Carmelo Busti, 68, from Illasi (VR), came out of his home around 2 pm and was seen shortly after. He is a regular walker and his cell phone has been turned off since Thursday 30 June. Anyone with information is requested to contact the carabinieri.
