City of Salzburg – Building Committee: Eleven agenda items decided by ten mandataries
There was a lot to discuss and conclude at the building committee headed by Franz Wolf (ÖVP) that appeared today for the ten mandataries. In the penultimate committee before the summer break, eleven items on the agenda were discussed, some of them controversial, but nine of them were decided unanimously.
The factions were particularly united when it came to letting a business premises in Linzergasse that had been vacant for some time. Ultimately, an applicant with the votes of the ÖVP against the votes of the SPÖ, Bürgerliste and FPÖ was awarded the contract by the committee chairman.
The following agenda items were approved unanimously:
- Civil law approval for an open-air cinema on the Platzl (July 7) as part of the Juvinale
- Extension of an existing building permit for properties in Hans Pfitzner Strasse (No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11)
- Continuation of the cooperation with SIR (Salzburg Institute for Regional Planning and Housing) for the further implementation of the Smart City Master Plan
- Construction of 9 main sewers in the Herrnau North area
- Increase of the total construction costs in the course of the Lehenau Süd main sewer renewal by € 65,000
- Approval of the predicted cost increase of €450,000 (interest share of the Municipality of Salzburg) in the Kapuzinerberg land management project
- Additional service in the amount of € 72,000 for the production of “a partial granite border on the north-western facade of the courthouse” between Kajetanerplatz and the entrance to the underground car park of the Barmherzige Brüder
- Construction of a roundabout in Hofhaymer Allee (total cost € 800,000 gross)
- New construction of the Ganshofstraße bridge over the Ganshofbach (total budget € 350,000 gross)
