Changes to the rapid corona tests – Munich News
As of today, June 30th, according to the federal test regulation free corona rapid tests for asymptomatic people only possible for certain groups of people. In addition, rapid tests are used for other groups of people 3 euros deductible offered.
A claim to free citizen tests to have:
– Children under the age of 5, also up to their fifth birthday
– People who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, including pregnant women in the first trimester
– People who are taking part in clinical studies on the effectiveness of vaccines against the coronavirus at the time of testing
– Individuals who require a test to end the quarantine (“free testing”)
– Visitors and those treated or residents in the following facilities, among others:
– hospitals
– rehabilitation facilities
– inpatient care facilities
– Facilities for people with disabilities
– Ambulatory surgery facilities
– dialysis centers
– ambulant care
– Outpatient services or inpatient facilities for integration assistance
– day clinics
– maternity facilities
– Outpatient hospice services and palliative care
– beneficiaries who work within the framework of a personal budget according to § 29 SGB IX persons, as well as persons who are employed by beneficiaries within the framework of a personal budget,
– Caregivers
– Household members of those who have been proven to be infected

The free citizen tests can be carried out in participating pharmacies, commissioned private test centers or in the municipal test center in Gasteig at Rosenheimer Straße 5. A notice: The municipal corona test center in Gasteig is currently being renovated and will be open again as usual.
A quick test against 3 euros deductible receive:
– People who want to attend an indoor event on the day of the test,
– People who will be in contact with people who are at high risk of developing serious illness from Covid-19 on the day of the test (these are people over 60 years of age, people with disabilities, people with previous illnesses)
– People who have received an indication of an increased risk from the Corona-Warn-App (“red tile”).
It is also necessary to be able to prove the entitlement for the 3-euro citizen tests. The 3-euro citizen tests can be carried out in participating pharmacies and commissioned private test centers – but not in the municipal test center in Gasteig. Only people who are entitled to a free test can be tested there.
