On Thursday 23 June, in the magnificent setting of the Lounge of the San Marino Tennis Center, the June convivial meeting of the Panathlon Club San Marino took place which featured the return of international tennis to San Marino thanks to the ATP Challenger Tournament that will be played in the groups from 8 to 14 August next. The President of the Federation Samm.se Tennis, Cristiano Forcellini and the Director of the San Marino Tennis Center, Mahena Abbati. As a prologue to the report of the welcome guests, the significant and suggestive ceremony of entry into the Club of a new Member took place: Massimo Zavatta, representing football (he is currently President of the Juvenes-Dogana Football Society). In addition, the Member Marino Albanimember of the Board of Auditors of Panathlon International, he reported on his participation in the International Assembly which took place in Lausanne on 12 June last

Visibly satisfied President Forcellini illustrated the complex path that the Tennis Federation had to face to re-enter the international tennis circuit and revive the glories of the 80-2000 tournaments that attracted so much public to San Marino. Mahena Abbati, on the other hand, focused her speech on the organizational aspects and on the problems that the Center will have to face on the occasion of such an important event, to give guests the hospitality and efficiency of our country. At the end the President Leone Achilli thanked the welcome guests and Members present for the large presence, also expressing a big good luck to the delegation of the Republic of San Marino who will participate in the Mediterranean Games to be held in Oran from 25 June to 5 July.
