The best six roads in the world to structure yourself. Portugal in the list
Qwhat are the best roads in the world for structure? It was to this question that four experts who were contacted by the Mazda. Odiel Mennink, Women’s Car of the Year jury, Nik Berg, founder of the travel blog Detour, and Jack Baruth and Dan Trent, automotive journalists made their choices and among them… is a Portuguese road.
Among the six chosen, the urban circuit of Boavista, in Portowas elected as best urban circuit for its spectacularity. Despite being appreciated by many, after its heyday in the 50’s, from the 60’s onwards it began to be so used for automobile competitions.
In the past, Rui Moreira, mayor of Porto, has made it clear that the circuit will not be reactive due to the inherent costs.
“In statements to the media, the candidate for Porto City Council said that, if he is re-elected, he will not sponsor the return of the Boavista Circuit, due to the high cost of the event for the city and the fact that he considers it a whim of his predecessor in the municipality’s campaign. The Circuito da Boa, as it is public, cost the people of Porto around Euros”, reads on the Boa website, by Rui Moreira.
