San Marino. Secretary Lonfernini meets Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Energy of Algeria
The bilateral event in Oran, where the opening ceremony of the XIX Mediterranean Games took place last night. The energy supplies between the two states were at the center of the talks.
The Secretariat of State for Labor, reports how “the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received the Secretary of State for Labor and Economic Planning Teodoro Lonfernini this morning in Oran, following his participation in the ceremony of opening of the XIX Mediterranean Games, which took place yesterday in the Algerian town.
In an atmosphere of extreme cordiality and collaboration, the result of a diplomatic relationship that for years has linked the Republic of San Marino and the Republic of Algeria, the parties examined the state of cooperation relations in the field of energy, as well as the opportunities for new supplies, also due to the current geopolitical situation and the consequences for the entire European market.
To this end, Minister Mohamed Arkab expressed deep interest and willingness to reason together to directly supply the Republic of San Marino with new gas stocks, as well as the background resulting from a very flourishing market, which places Algeria among the first in the world of this essential resource.
