PJ detains six suspects suspected of distributing in Portugal bought in Spain – Observer
Last Friday, the Judiciary Police (PJ) had people allegedly belonging to a “group of companies allegedly” that are dedicated to the distribution of six products in Portugal, acquired in the south of Spain, it was announced on Sunday.
In a statement, the PJ states that the women’s operation called “Areia Branca” aimed to “dismantle the group”, with five men and one being arrested, aged between 32 and 38 years, who, in recent years, have been arrested. “Vim was dedicated to the nationwide distribution of significant drug importance”.
In the operation carried out through the PJ’s National Unit to Combat Drug Trafficking, 18 kilograms of cannabis leaves, six kilograms of hashish, about 100 MDMA-Ecstasy tablets and a small amount of cocaine.
In addition to the narcotic products, several vehicles, telecommunications equipment, money and other objects “with relevant interest for proving the facts under investigation” were seized, the police noted.
In the document, the PJ does not specify the place where the arrests and seizures were carried out.
According to the PJ, the detainees were heard in the first judiciary, with the court ordering the arrest of four of them, while the other two will remain obliged to present periodic and prohibited preventive measures with the rest.
