Bulgaria competes with Serbia before the world qualifiers
Tonight, the men’s national team in Bulgaria will conduct the only inspection before the resumption of world qualifications in Europe. Rosen Barchovski’s team will play a prestigious control with two-time Olympic silver medalist Serbia in Nis.
Control between Serbia and Bulgaria is unlikely
The friendly match will be held in full confidence, with no fans or journalists allowed, and there will also be no official photographer.
As it is known, Bulgaria will face Lithuania on July 1 in Samokov, and three days later will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo in the last two matches of the first stage of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers. Serbia plays against Latvia on June 30 , on July 3 accepts Belgium.
Serbia without Teodosic against Bulgaria
The Blues will not be in the entire lineup with the Lions. The most prestigious name that will be missing from Svetoslav Pesic’s rotation is that of Milos Teodosic, who is recovering from an injury. However, NBA champion Nemanja Bjelica and former Dallas player Boban Maryanovic are now joining the team’s training camp.
In recent days, Barchovski’s selection was preparing at the camp in Samokov, and in the middle of this week to join the team of Emil Stoilov and Dee Bost. The Bulgarian team is already on the territory of Nis, waiting for the match today.
