Both Melvyn Jaminet and Pierre-Louis Barassi have signed their three-year contract with Stade Toulousain.
This time, it is well and truly signed. While he is soon to fly to Japan with the XV of France, Melvyn Jaminet made a detour via Toulouse before joining Marcoussis. The international rear has, in fact, affixed his signature to a contract for the next three seasons in favor of Stade Toulousain. “I am very happy to sign at Stade Toulousain: it is a club whose playing philosophy suits me and which has title ambitions, sent the former Perpignan player in a press release from his new club. This is what I am looking for for the rest of my career! Didier Lacroix, for his part, assured that the signing of Melvyn Jaminet marks the club’s desire to “remain competitive for the coming seasons”. The back of the XV of France will be put in competition next season with Thomas Ramos, who recently extended his contract with the former champion of France.
Barassi also signed until 2025
Didier Lacroix has been busy signing contracts in recent days. Indeed, after Melvyn Jaminet, it was Pierre-Louis Barassi who materialized his departure from Lyon after six seasons. The three-quarters international center, who was not retained in the largely reorganized group composed by Fabien Galthié for the tour of the XV of France in Japan, also initialed a contract covering the next three seasons in favor of the club eliminated in semi-finals both in the Champions Cup and in the Top 14. “I am above all happy and excited to be able to start a new adventure at Stade Toulousain, named Pierre-Louis Barassi in a press release. I can’t wait to start the next season with this team! Didier Lacroix sees his rookie as a driving force in his squad. “Given his great qualities, he will help us produce the game that we are provoking,” said the Toulouse president. It is a pleasure to be able to count him among us. »
