In Toulouse, the IGS group rhymes training with integration
Apprenticeship is experiencing growing success in France, as in Occitania. One way to meet the growing needs of companies in terms of recruitment. It is also a way for young people to train while receiving a salary, and to acquire a first professional experience, or even a permanent contract once they graduate. The IGS group, based in Blagnac, supports demand, in particular with its dedicated school: IGS Alternance. But its other entities have also developed apprenticeship programs in recent years, some even having the particularity of having been developed for and with certain companies: Castorama, Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31, Difcam, Capgemini, etc.
It is precisely for the latter that IGS-RH Toulouse will launch next September the training of Manager in Human Resources Management Specialization IT Talent acquisition, an eighteen-month course in full distance dedicated to twenty-four future HR managers in charge of group recruitment. Capgemini’s ambition is certainly to recruit these learners at the end of their training. Like those that follow the one that the company co-designed with the IPI, the IGS computer school. “100% of the work-study students then signed on a permanent contract,” says Laurent Plusquellec, BizOps manager west zone. “We are delighted with our collaboration, both on the content of the programs that we adapt each year and in which we intervene, and on the follow-up of the young people that we select together. »
A personalized follow-up
Gilles Augé, educational coordinator for the South-West delegation of Difcam, also praises “the flexibility and open-mindedness” of the Toulouse team, as well as “the very personalized support and follow-up” of each learner. Matthieu Travain, ESAM Entrepreneur Manager student, confirms: “I joined the group in BTS, then I did a Bachelor and a Master in three different companies, because I want to multiply experiences in various sectors. Or each one was found by the group’s corporate relations department, which really listened to my desires and my project. »
This department, headed by Nathalie Morize, has ten employees. “Our organisation, which cuts across all of our schools, allows us to support each young person in their specific project, and to ensure that they are well integrated into their host company”, explains the director. For Heide Mathieu, the IGS Group Occitanie Regional Delegate, this is one of the keys to the success of these personalized courses. “We have the ability to meet the needs of companies without making any concessions on the academic dimension of the programs”, she insists. And although the number of apprentices has increased under the effect of strong demand (by 25% this year), the group intends to control this growth in order to be able to continue to guarantee a quality of education to its students, as well as to its partner companies.
