South of Toulouse: a violent fire destroyed a restaurant
A fire broke out late Saturday evening in Saint-Béat-Lez, near Mourtis. A restaurant was destroyed. Hard blow to a few days of summer vacation.
When the firefighters arrived on the spot Saturday shortly before midnight, the flames had already completely invaded the restaurant installed on the shores of Lake Géry, in Saint-Béat-Lez above Marignac in the direction of Mourtis. The establishment, about 150m2, had closed its doors shortly before the alert received at 11:47 p.m. by the firefighters.
On site, the twenty-four firefighters engaged quickly set up four lances to fight the fire and protect a nearby high-voltage line. But despite their efforts, the establishment was totally destroyed.

The origin of the fire is uncertain. The gendarmes of the Saint-Gaudnes company have opened an investigation. The experts must determine the origin of the fire.
For the owners, and the inhabitants of the valley, it is a blow a few days before the summer holidays.
