One of the largest exhibits of the Lithuanian Maritime Museum has been renovated – the average fishing trawler Dubingiai, built in 1961 at the Baltic Shipyard, standing on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon.
Visitors can now get around the stern and the premises here – the galley, the engine room, the shower rooms and get an idea of the daily life of the sea at that time.
In the renovated premises, authentic objects or their copies will be exhibited, and the interior of that time has been restored.

The title of honorary citizen of Kretinga district was given to basketball player and coach Gintaras Krapikas.
The celebrations took place in the Church of the Revelation of the Lord to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This title is dedicated to the athlete for his merits to the district community in the field of sports and the reputation of Kretinga in the country and in the world.
