Toulouse, Nantes, Bordeaux… Where will it be the hottest this Friday?
The sky will be particularly sunny this Friday, with temperatures expected between 35°C and 40°C over much of the country in the afternoon.
Friday will be marked by an early and intense heatwave episode over almost the entire country, according to Météo-France forecasts. From 2 p.m., Charente, Charente-Maritime, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne, Deux-Sèvres, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Vendée and Vienne will go into red alert.

Almost all regions of the country will have highs well above 30°C in the afternoon, with 36°C in Paris, 38°C in Rennes, 32°C in Strasbourg and 34°C in Lille.
On the sky side, once the rare morning gloom has dissipated on the Aquitaine coast and on the beaches of the Côte d’Azur, a blazing sun will settle over the whole country.
