This Autumn, the Toulouse les Orgues Festival is a dream come true!
From October 5 to 16, 2022, the Toulouse les Orgues Festival returns with a 27th edition under the theme “Rêver l’Orgue”.
This year, the Festival will highlight the dreamers of the organ: builders who today make organs with unheard-of sounds and musicians from classical, experimental or jazz music who create for this instrument.
On organs from all eras and all genres, these musicians will perform in a variety of repertoires, solo or in duets, with other instruments such as the baroque violin, saxophone, electric hurdy-gurdy, theremin or percussion.
Among the highlights of the festival: the Nuits du Gesu, the film-concert at La Daurade, the Nuit de l’Orgue in St-Sernin dedicated this year to Scandinavian music and musicians, the sessions of yo[r]ga and the free student-only concert.
