Aurélien Tchouameni’s goodbye letter
In a letter published in Nice-Matin, Aurélien Tchouameni wanted to greet the supporters of AS Monaco, who supported him during his two and a half years spent at the Club.
Two and a half seasons, 95 games, 8 goals, 7 assists and a multitude of memories. Arrived at AS Monaco in January 2020 from Girondins de Bordeaux, Aurélien Tchouameni has taken on a new dimension on the Rock, becoming one of the best midfielders in the world and contributing to the Club’s last two very successful seasons, with two podiums at stake.

Having just signed up for six seasons with reigning European champion Real Madrid, the French international insisted on returning to Monegasque supporters in a letter published in Nice morningas well as in a video posted on his social networks.

“I wanted to honor this red and white jersey and I knew I was going to have my work cut out. The coaches, the staffs, my teammates and all the club staff allowed me to surpass myself. I have the feeling of having become a better player but also a better man thanks to them. »
“The incredible victory against PSG at home in November 2020, the journey in the Coupe de France to the final, the European evenings, the unfailing support of the supporters… All the memories are intertwined and I will take them everywhere with me. (…) Thanks to you, Monaco has become much more than a house. I couldn’t leave without saying goodbye to you, or rather, a revede! »
