the new glass solution for your meals to go
The new terminals placed everywhere in Monaco with the MaConsigne logo were intriguing. Today, the mystery is cleared up.
The Prince’s Government has promised to achieve “zero single-use plastic by 2030”. To reduce the consumption of disposable plastic, the Mission for Energy Transition is taking up the ancestral idea of deposit boxes in order to reuse glass containers.

The principle is simple. Instead of throwing away all its take-out containers, partner restaurants offer reusable boxes. After use, it is possible to return the unwashed containers to one of the twenty terminals available across the city. They will then be washed and redistributed to the partners.
The service is completely free in the event that the containers are deposited within 14 days of the order. Otherwise, seven euros will be debited from the customer’s account.
To guide you, find the various participating restaurants and allow you to deposit the boxes in the terminals, an application has been specially developed. In the name of “MaConsigne”, it is available on the App store and the Play Store.
