Vandals attacked the Jewish cemetery in Kaliningrad

In Kaliningrad, in the Litovsky Val area, on the night of June 10-11, 2022, on the eve of the Day of Russia, vandals discover a penetration into a religious building in an old Jewish cemetery.
As representatives of the Jewish community told the Russian West, the glass was broken in the building that surrounds the grave of the deceased and buried in Königsberg, the righteous Israel Salanter (1810-1883).
The director of the synagogue construction fund, Natalya Laurens, reported the incident to the police.
This is not the first time that vandals show “interest” in religious shrines. Prior to this, Salanter’s tombstone was smeared with offensive inscriptions. The Congress of Jewish Organizations called on the Kaliningrad authorities to pay attention to correctness. Couldn’t find anyone. The Jewish community made a decision about the grave to become the construction of the owners – just a building.
The history of particle detection and the most famous act of vandalism in Kaliningrad: On November 27, 2018, a sculpture of Immanuel Kant was doused with pink paint at the university. Despite the fact that video surveillance recorded the spread, which, in all likelihood, became possible on the same day another act of vandalism – on the Kant memorial plaque on Leninsky Prospekt – the authorities still shrug. Nobody can be found.
