The World Health Organization rewards caregivers in the Principality
The WHO presented a Trophy to the Center Hospitalier Princesse Grace (CHPG).
Reward efforts made. Last week, Hans Kuge, Regional Director of the WHO, presented a Trophy to the health professionals of the Principality, within the CHPG, ” in gratitude for the efforts made by health professionals from Monaco in the service of health and well-being in the WHO European Region. »
A Trophy which symbolizes the year 2021, particularly tested due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and dedicated “International Year of Health and Care Workers”, on the initiative of the WHO.
Were present for the occasion Christophe Robino, recently appointed Government Counselor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, as well as the Department of Health Action, the Town Hall, the COVID-19 Unit, the Home Monitoring Center, the Order of Physicians, the Order of Pharmacists, the Association of Independent Nurses, IM2S, the Cardio-Thoracic Center of Monaco, the Monegasque Red Cross, firefighters and town doctors.
Christophe Robino thanked those present, but also all the health professionals in the Principality, “ for their efforts and their constant involvement during these two years of health crisis. »
The WHO Trophy, intended for all health professionals in the Principality, was symbolically presented to the CHPG. Benoîte de Sevelinges, Director of the Centre, told Monaco Info: “ This crisis has demonstrated the ability of health professionals in Monaco to work together, with city medicine and hospital medicine. »
