NICO ROSBERG BANNED FROM PADDOCK DURING LAST MONACO GP
Since his retirement in F-1 in 2016 after his title of World Champion, Nico ROSBERG, the citizen of Monaco where he grew up, works as a consultant for the TV channel SKY Germany.
During the recent MONACO GP, viewers of this successful TV channel were surprised to see Nico ROSBERG commenting on the GP from his apartment located along the track!
So physical troubles or delusions of grandeur have arisen as a question for SKY Germany subscribers?
Nico ROSBERG however reassured them in the meantime during an interview on another German TV channel SPORT 1 where he explained as follows
‘since I was affected by the Coronavirus from which I recovered without problem, I have sufficient antibodies ”
specifying :
” in addition I have myself tested regularly following which my doctor told me that in these conditions getting vaccinated against Corona did not make much sense.”
Nico also let it be known that he had requested special authorization from the FIA in order to be able to work freely in the paddock, something refused because since the start of the season the supreme authority of motor sport has decided that any access to the paddock will not be now granted only to anyone who can show a vaccination certificate against the Coronavirus while the last season a negative PCR test would suffice.
The only exception: a medical certificate stating that for medical reasons the wearer is exempt from being vaccinated.
This also explains why Alan VAN DER MERWE, the South African and Swiss driver of the Medical Car for many years, recently dismissed from his post because he refused to be vaccinated.
And in this area at the FIA, we may not be willing to change the rules, or Nico ROSBERG is now vaccinated. or he is considered in the future and despite his title of F1 World Champion which entitles him to access to all F1 GPs for life as a ”non grata” person.
