Proponents of YPG / PKK terrorism are protesting in Finland and Sweden
Although Finland’s and Sweden’s continued support for the terrorist group YPG / PKK maintains its NATO membership, supporters of the terrorist group took to the streets of the countries’ capitals and held open demonstrations on Saturday.
Supporters of the YPG / PKK gathered in front of Parliament and demanded that Helsinki reject Turkey’s demands for an end to support and tolerance for the terrorist group.
The demonstration lasted about two hours, and participants wore flags and symbols of a terrorist group.
In Sweden, supporters of the YPG / PKK met in the capital’s Norra Bantorget Square in Stockholm and demanded that the government impose an arms embargo on Ankara in posters condemning a YPG / PKK leader sitting in Turkey for life.
Sweden is under pressure from Turkey end its support for the YPG / PKK terrorist group if it wants to join NATO, Ankara says the bloc is a security alliance and potential members must take a clear stand against terrorism.
In its more than 40-year-long campaign of terror against Turkey, the PKK – a terrorist organization in Turkey, the United States and the European Union – has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children and babies. The YPG is the Syrian branch of the PKK’s terrorist group.
