Toulouse. The party is back in Saint-Cyprien and in full swing
The party in the Saint-Cyprien district is back after two years of absence with a colorful edition placed under the sign of diversity. A completely free program, open to all and prepared by a dozen local associations.
A 2022 edition which began wisely on Tuesday with an exhibition, then on Wednesday, an afternoon of family games offered by the ALLEE toy library at the Saint-Cyprien Cultural Center. The festivities took place last night with a Grande Rue Saint-Nicolas entirely occupied by the neighbours’ aperitif tables, to the Brazilian rhythms of Carlos Valverde and his Forro magnético Trio in the first part of the Bruja concert. At the Toulouse café, Alain, the boss, does not hide his joy “it feels good to find people in the street and without a mask. It’s a rebirth for us.”
On this Friday the party continues at Place de l’Estrapade from 6:30 p.m. with three concerts: the humorous French songs of Cool Cash Fex, the Argentinian sounds of Cuarteto Tafi or the eclectic music of 3rd Class at 10 p.m. -end the animations will go crescendo.
Saturday, place du Ravelin introduction to Pilate with Caroline, neighborhood meal in a Spanish inn, dances, sound walk to discover the history of Saint-Cyprien. Then from 5 p.m. a whole series of concerts with the Ateliers musicals and a Silent Party at 9 p.m. on Sunday, the Place du Ravelin will host the garage sales of the zanimos restaurant from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the party will move to the port Viguerie where dance initiations and concerts will follow one another from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. To close this beautiful program do not miss the Live Cinema at 10 p.m., a unique performance mixing cinema and music.
