Research into UFOs: ‘Not ready in the Netherlands yet’
In a description, NASA writes that it deals with events in the sky that cannot be thought of as planes of natural phenomena. “The first nine months require a kind of preliminary investigation, in which they look at what data they still have. After that they can analyze what those UFOs are,” Taede Smedes of the UFO reporting center explains to EditieNL.
There is much speculation about what the “unidentified aerial phenomena” might be, Smedes says. But think about alien spy technology. But think about alien spy technology.
Taboo
The Dutch government has so far not been involved in UFOs. “It’s just disinterest. And there’s a taboo on it, because UFOs are combined with aliens from aliens, don’t use it to go there at all,” Smedes says.
He cannot imagine that there are no observations of unexplained phenomena in the air here in the Netherlands. According to him, it is due to the fact that people do not dare to step forward when they have seen something because of that taboo. “That is why Dutch research is still a long way off.”
new knowledge
At the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk they are happy that this American research is being done. “We just want to collect data. The subject is taboo. Pilots don’t want to talk about it,” said Philippe Ailleris on behalf of the organization.
They therefore hope at ESA that it will lead to new guidelines that will benefit everyone. “It provides physical knowledge. We still need to know a lot, not everything. We have to work together as space organizations.”
