France-Japan in Toulouse in November, it’s official!
It’s now official: XV of France will face Japan at the Stadium de Toulouse on Sunday November 20, 2022 as part of the autumn rugby tour 2022. This Thursday, June 9, the French Rugby Federation formalized the meeting, the ticket office of which should open in the coming days. The kick-off time of France-Japan in Toulouse remains to be defined.
When the Japanese last visited France in 2017, the match ended in a draw. In total, with the summer tour to Japan in a few weeks, the Blues will face the Brave Blossoms three times this year. Note that the last match of the XV of France on Toulouse land dates back to 2016.
France-Australia at Stade de France, South Africa at Marseille
However, before its match against the Japanese rugby players, the XV of France will have to play two other matches, also formalized by the FFR: France-AustraliaSaturday November 5 at the Stade de France, then France-South Africa, Saturday November 12 at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille.
One year from the Rugby World Cup 2023, which will be held from September 8 to October 28, these meetings will be particularly scrutinized. Five posters are played at Toulouse Stadium, which will notably welcome the All Blacks, the Fijians and the Samoans. During this competition, the base camp of the Japanese will also be established in the Pink City.
