Legislative Haute-Garonne. In Toulouse, Jean Lassalle comes to support his “Resist” candidates
Jean Lassalle came to cheer up his “Resist” candidates on Wednesday June 8 in Toulouse, vying in five constituencies for the legislative elections.
He arrived a little late, but those who know the deputy of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, who hang up after a fourth term, know it.
Jean Lassalle had made an appointment, last night in Toulouse, with some of the candidates of his party “Resistons” which is running in the legislative elections of June 12 and 19. He arrived with arms wide open, spreading infectious joy to his guests.
Among the candidates present at the Salle du Sénéchal (rue Rémuzat), the five in the running in Haute-Garonnee out of a total of ten constituencies: Jérôme Piques (5th), Sylvie Bonnemaison (6th), Angélique Eymond (7th), Wildrid Serre (8th) and Baptiste Marquié (10th).
“For discourse, ideas, form”
The latter, a farmer and local elected representative near Nailloux, decided to embark on the battle for the deputation “for speech, ideas and form” carried by Jjean Lassalle who, unlike his arrival in Toulouse before the first of the presidential election in April, chose this time to come and boost the morale of his troops without “putting on a show”.
Jean Lassalle is no longer a candidate but he remains in politics. In Haute-Garonne, during the presidential election, he obtained 4.85% of the vote (a little over 2% in Toulouse), and knows that it will not be a cakewalk for his candidates. But we “must inject something new”, he says. “We have to reclaim politics,” he continues. We have to bring out a new generation, but since all the parties are shot, we have to do this work everywhere. The good surprise is to see the number of young people who have joined us. Our campaign team is 25 years old on average and with extraordinary backgrounds”.
Privileged target of Jean Lassalle for this legislative campaign, finance. “She has woven such a spider’s web, at all levels on the four parts of the planet, that we are faced with utter helplessness. I am a Republican and I propose to rebuild the state. »
