Mecalac AS750, AS850 and AS 1000: it’s swinging in Annecy
The three new models (AS750, AS850 and AS1000) complete the entry-level portfolio. They are positioned alongside the AS600, AS900tele, AS1600 and AS210 chargers already on the market. All share the “Swing” concept, created in 1953 by Ahlmann, bought by Mecalac. This new design in the loader sector, with proven efficiency and improved speed of action. It increases productivity by offering the possibility of driving, maneuvering and pivoting at the same time and in complete safety.
Designed on the basis of a rigid frame with 3 standard steering modes – 2-wheel steering, 4-wheel steering, crab – the machine offers increased mobility. Other benefits include proven stability. What the bucket lifts at the front, once the rear axle is blocked, it lifts it at 180° without any risk. Better space management The Swing loader, thanks to its arm, pivots instead of moving. Consequently, there is less wasted time, less noise and visual pollution, less maintenance, less risk of accidents, less impact on the environment. It is from these observations that the innovative concept of Swing Mecalac loaders was born with the aim of giving more value to the work of the loader in order to make it more efficient and safer for the operator.
A solution for every construction site
The AS750 loader has a larger width and a wheelbase increased to 1,870 mm, for even more stability. In addition, this model is equipped with a motor with increased power to 45 kW and allows more lifting and loading capacity. Its “P” bucket kinematics offer excellent precision during handling operations, particularly with a pallet lift or equipped with its power. Its spacious cabin equipped with 2 doors promises the operator excellent visibility, while still presenting its level of safety on construction sites.
With the AS850, productivity becomes the watchword. Naturally incorporating all the advantages of Swing Mecalac machines, in particular its rigid frame and 4-wheel steering, the AS850 is also available as a 40 km/h option to allow faster transfers. In addition, its new arm and its “Z” bucket kinematics offer the best compromise between breakout force and precision.
With its high torque, the AS1000 Swing model performs on all sites thanks to its efficiency and speed of execution. The AS1000 offers maximum performance with a 4-cylinder engine developed 55.4 kW High-torque (375 Nm) and the possibility of being equipped with a high-flow hydraulic line offering up to 120 l/min perfectly adapted to driving hydraulic accessories.
