Marcel Mazout, Blackstage and three DJs at 2nd Zik’en Butte
And here is the season of musical and festive evenings which is starting slowly but surely. Before the big summer meetings and the blazing sun that goes with it, the Friends of Old Seynod association is setting up the first unmissable event of this post-Covid period: the 2e Zik’en Butte.
The group Marcel Mazout has the particularity of having all its musicians still very much alive. And these days in the rock world, this anecdote can be listed in the Guinness Book of Records. It’s not as if we’ve never seen them on stage, but a summer season without a Mazout concert is a waste. Cradettes and hairy musicians are waiting for you to fight it out and have a good laugh (from 7:30 p.m.).
Blackstage is an electric and highly amplified quartet dedicated to the Anglo-Saxon repertoire. We find in their scores the greatest hits of Nirvana, Queen, Eagles, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, but also some vestiges of French rock with Trust, Telephone and a little Noir Désir. Blackstage is a regular on the Hard Rock Café stages. Twenty establishments around the world have already hosted the group, which plays from 9:30 p.m.
And to clear midnight, the turntables will be under the influence of three young DJs for a trip from the 80s to the present day.
Saturday June 4 from 7 p.m., butte Saint-Martin in Seynod. Free.
