Toulouse. VIDEO. Handball: against the Parisian racing car, the Fenix stalled under the flag (33-36)
They had promised to push them around, to make their lives difficult. They kept their word to Toulouse, formidable from start to finish, yesterday against Paris Saint-Germain who finally trembled until the end in their quest for total invincibility this season in the Starligue. Nikola Karabtic’s teammates are only two deadlines away from their goal (record) at the end of the season, but they had to deal with the unleashed, enthusiastic and tenacious Toulouse people until the final whistle.
With heart (a lot) and foresight (just as much), Danijel Andjelkovic’s troops steered their boat well, not missing their start against Parisian F1. At 8-3 in the 12th in their favour, the Toulousains settled in control with apropos, without owing anything to anyone against Parisians surprised by the inspirations of Balenciaga, perfect in animation and finishing.
But PSG have composure and talent in all corners of the field. Karabatic of course, but also the former residents of the Sports Palace, the untenable Steins and the imperturbable Sole Sala, who will weigh in on the return of the Parisians, who will go up to the Fenix for the first time (14- 14, 26th), then settling in command in the 41st (23-24), before distancing themselves from Toulouse who suffered the blow physically after their tremendous burst of energy (26-31, 49th). We could therefore fear the worst for the band in Andjelkovic but it is bad to know the mind of this formation which has never given up the image of Feuchtmann, an insatiable fighter. Until the end, they maintained doubt in the Parisian camp (33-34, 59th) before the infernal duo Steins-Sole Sala rang the Fenix glass in a tense and stressful finale. Toulouse who also lost to injury (ankle) their goalkeeper, Jef Lettens, victim of a shock with Steins on the last goal of PSG. But also the fifth place now inaccessible mathematically.
