Toulouse: a 29-year-old man injured by bullet, the shooter arrested
The man suspected of having shot and wounded a victim on Wednesday at the end of the day at Croix-Daurade in Toulouse was arrested.
The police were quick on Wednesday night. The man suspected of having shot a victim around 6:45 p.m. rue du Général Giraud, in the Croix-Daurade district of Toulouse, was arrested less than three hours later by the BAC, as he returned to his home. This 26-year-old man was taken into custody for attempted aggravated homicide. His victim, aged 29, whose life was not in danger, was admitted to Purpan hospital. He was shot in the right flank after an argument with his attacker.
By late afternoon, the tone had risen between the two men. The tire slapped the victim, who responded by destroying the rear view mirror of the suspect’s Volkswagen Golf. The latter then pulled out a handgun and shot his victim once before fleeing. After falling to the ground, the injured man had taken refuge in a nearby bakery. The witnesses had informed the Samu.
The police had cordoned off the perimeter and made the findings on the spot. A casing had been found. A manhunt had begun. It will have lasted a little less than three hours.
