Heroin trafficking dismantled at Mirail in Toulouse, one of the traffickers was a fugitive on the run
It is a month-long investigation by the narcotics brigade of the Left Bank in Toulouse which completed the arrest on Monday, May 30 of seven people in total, involved in heroin trafficking which fed a hundred consumers, marginalized people who had developed a very strong dependency.
A hundred marginal drug addicts
Via an advanced spinning system, the investigators arrest the two main dealers, two residents of Mirailin a bar in Portet-sur-Garonne where they have their habits. Two “nurses”, accomplices who could store the goods, are also arrested at Mirail. During the searches, more than 2.5 kilos of heroin were found, as well as 40 grams of cocaine, nearly a kilo and a half of cannabis resin and 8,500 euros in cash. The suppliers themselves delivered their customers, with whom they communicated by telephone.
Seven people are placed in police custody but only four were referred on June 1: the two “nurses”, a 30-year-old man and a 37-year-old drug addict woman, and the two traffic organizers, a 33-year-old man. years old and another 26 years old. The younger of the two is involved in a criminal case for which he must serve a 12-year prison sentence. An arrest warrant had been issued for him.
The four people were to be tried on Wednesday in immediate comparison, with a strong risk that the hearing will be postponed.
