New national team equipment presented for Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Slovenia – SportsLogos.Net News
Wednesday avalanche of national team jerseys Puma yesterday released four other, smaller European countries that unveiled new kits last week.
Slovenia, Moldova and Armenia have presented new jerseys in recent days, while Georgia has issued new jerseys and a new national team emblem. None of these four countries qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which began in November.
Let’s take a look at these kits in more detail:
GEORGIA
The biggest news of the Georgian Football Association is the new coat of arms for their national teams. It is based on the state coat of arms and depicts St. George, the patron saint of the former Soviet republic, who kills a dragon and can be used with or without the surrounding shield.
The GFF retains its logo for institutional use, with the letters “GFF” written above the circle containing the state flag.
GFF has also released the artist’s renditions of new kits designed by Macron. The home kit is white with a red vertical line in the middle and a red line running down each sleeve. Red replacements for the guest kit include black stripes on the sleeves and a black collar. The black third set includes a tonal vertical line in the middle and a red collar.
MOLDOVA
The new Moldovan kits made by Jako contain a tonal pattern of the tree of life, “an ancient symbol representing uninterrupted life and eternal youth.” Each tree is crowned with a rose, symbolizing “love, beauty, family, wisdom and devotion.”
All three sets – blue home, yellow away and third red – also have traditional Moldovan patterns on the side lines and cuffs on the sleeves. The guest set is the only one of the three that has contrasting raglan sleeves.
ARMENIA
Armenian new home kits, also made by Macron, are mostly red, with white sleeves and inserts on the shoulders. The pattern of intertwined geometric shapes becomes more visible as the base fades from red to blue as you move around the shirt.
The guest set is white, with gold-sleeved cuffs and shoulder inserts. The geometric pattern of the home t-shirt is repeated in light gray on the sleeves of the guest t-shirt, and the left side is wrapped with a brush depicting the Armenian flag. The Armenian coat of arms sitting on the left chest of both shirts.
SLOVENIA
New home and guest sets from Slovenia are made by Nike, which used its Vaporknit III team clothing template with a characteristic pattern of fingerprints on the sleeves. Both white home and blue guest shirts have a vertical stripe in the middle of navy blue diamonds.
Just above the place where the line is broken to provide space for player numbers, Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia, is depicted. This design won the public vote at the end of 2021.
