Toulouse: Goodbye paper, here are connected business cards
Two Toulouse residents, Sacha Ohayon and Edwin Chiche offer connected business cards.
Being able to send your CV, portfolio and contact details with a business card is now possible. Company based in Toulouse, e.card, allows to transfer professional documents on the phone of a prospect. To send the business card information to the phone, two methods are used. “Our business cards work either with a QRcode or with NFC”, decrypts Edwin Chiche, one of the company’s founders. For more than a year and a half, the two Toulousains have been working on this idea but they only launched their company at the beginning of the year.
If the two friends are not the first to market connected business cards, they have the ambition to “push further” the project and the proposals. “The card can be branded with the company’s image and customers can choose the material the card is created from,” says Edwin. Materials chosen with a certain ecological concern: bamboo, cherry wood, recycled plastic and metal. Everything is thought out to avoid using paper and that the cards are reusable. “If an employee returns his card when leaving, it can be given to his successor. The information can be constantly modified on our platform”, specifies the co-founder who insists on the fact that there are “no limits” to the information transmitted thanks to the card.
As for the tariff, the prices of a card range from fifty to one hundred euros but become decreasing when the order exceeds twenty-five units.
