Students succeed in a series of successes in international creative competitions
This year’s month of May WILL remain unforgettable for some FH students of the courses MultiMediaArt and MultiMediaTechnology. With works from the fields of communication design, film, animation and computer games, they have triggered a veritable rain of prizes in several national and international creative competitions. The highlight was a glamorous awards ceremony in New York.
A fitting conclusion to her MultiMediaArt Studios can man Fabian Heller and Karen Kirchner actually don’t want it: the design duo has literally been showered with prizes in several competitions. With their project “Connected sample’ – part of a welcome kit for refugees – the two were able to win a Golden Cube at the ‘Young Talent Award“ of the “One Club for Creativity” in New York. Also at “talent award“ of the Art Directors Club for Germany (ADC), the two were at the forefront. In addition to a silver and a bronze nail, she commissioned an ADC nail in gold for her project “STUD“, a design tool for the automated creation of graphic design layouts.
6th place in the worldwide creative ranking
One of the big winners is Student Jonas Perkmann. The filmmaker was recognized at the Young Ones Awards for his entire creative portfolio excellent. I am Ranking of the world’s best creative schools of the “One Club for Creativity” the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences ranks in the sensational 6th place.
But the creative minds at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences were not only among the best in New York. The current successful series includes Victories and awards in several national and international creative competitions:

Young Talent Award
The “One Club for Creativity” in New York is one of the world’s largest creative clubs and organizes the “Young Ones Award”, one of the world’s most important competition programs for students from the fields of advertising, digital communication and design. The awards ceremony took place on May 16th at Sony Hall in New York. The winning projects include a total of 8 works by MultiMediaArt students:
ADC Talent Award
With the Talent Award, the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC) honors young creative people for outstanding communication and design achievements. The winners of the competition were celebrated on May 19th at the Award Show in Hamburg. The winning projects of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences are:

International Business Film Days
Every two years, the International Business Film Days honor the best productions from the corporate and business film industry in German-speaking countries. The award ceremony for this year’s competition took place on May 19 in Vienna. Students brought two Prix Victoria to Salzburg:

CCA Venus Prize
The CCA Venus Award honors the best ideas in the Austrian communications industry and puts their makers in the limelight. The award ceremony took place on May 19 in Vienna. Students of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences won:

Advertising film and music prize
The new award for the Austrian business film and music industry distinguished not only the production companies and producers in 11 categories, but also the service providers and creative people in the film and music industry. The event is organized by the Upper Austrian Film and Music Industry Representatives. The winning projects were presented in Linz on April 28th. Among the honorees are:

A Labyrinth Award
THE A MAZE. Festival in Berlin is one of the most famous festivals for computer game art and indie games. The VR computer game “We Are One” from the Salzburg developer studio “Flat Head Studio” celebrated its festival premiere there.
