STML and Lisbon City Council agree on the unhealthy and hardship supplement – Observer
The Workers Union of the Municipality of Lisbon (STML) and the Lisbon City Council (CML) arrived, this Wednesday, as to the update of the unhealthy and hardship supplementwith retroactive payments, one of the main serious problems for workers.
Speaking to Lusa, Luís Antes do STML, explained that, after the concentration of CML urban hygiene workers in Praça do Município, in Lisbon, the union had two meetings with the deputy director of the municipality, Filipe Anacoreta, having reached an agreement in which the workers demanded.
We reached a compromise with the council that is to pay retroactively until August of this year and, then, in January 2023, to pay the two months that correspond to the vacation months of 2021 and 2022, “said Luís Dias.
According to the unionist, workers in the urban cleaning sector, most of them removals, should be receiving the updated unhealthy and hardship supplement since January 2021, set out in the 4.99 euros (currently they are still receiving 4.09 euros).
In relation to the 1,200 euros to the universe, Luís 70 Dia workers so “large part also depends on work”.

According to Luís Dias, a commitment has now been signed, with the objective of future regular meetings with those responsible for Urban Hygiene of the municipality, to which they will “post the existing problems”.
