Territorial Operations Center in San Marino, CSDL: “For now it doesn’t seem solved it has all the problems”
“Even the health situation and the draft law in support of the family, in recent days, were at the center of the meeting of the board of directors of the CSDL”.
The says so San Marino Confederation of Laborunderlining in a statement that, “a few days ago, the Territorial operations center: given that in these first days there were still inconveniences and long waiting times, at the moment it does not seem that this novelty wanted by the ISS management has fully resolved the serious difficulties in communicating patients with their doctor; as far as we know, the expected nursing staff is still not complete and, in any case, in the first period we started with a numerically insufficient staff to make this service work at its best“.
According to the CSDL, “one of the inevitable consequences of switching to a single telephone number for all health centers is loss of that relationship of knowledge and trust that has been established over time between citizens and nurses they have always referred to; a relationship to be cherished in particular by older people; it is however important for everyone, as well as emotionally reassuring, to report their health problems to those who have known patients for a long time and with whom the necessary confidence has been established “.
At the same time, by the ISS management, “huge and bombastic investments in the health sector have been announced, such as nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and robotic surgery, always connected to the new hospital project”.
The prerequisite would be to “offer the greatest number of services to the San Marino citizens to avoid them being forced to go to affiliated structures outside”.
According to the San Marino trade union, “hypothesizing similar, presupposes that there is certainty that the pool of beneficiary users is widely expanded and that the necessary personnel to make them operational are available, taking into account that these are available even slightly beyond outside our borders “.
For the CSDL, “the priority is to make all existing hospital services and departments work, many of which have long been in difficulty; Passing long-term projects means shifting attention in other directionsrather than towards the need to restore full efficiency to the entire San Marino healthcare system “.
Subsequently, the San Marino Confederation of Labor reiterates “another anomaly, namely the creation, through a resolution, of a of work to realize the new needs group of the ISSa start from the staff of the administrative services, where there are undoubtedly major shortcomings “.
In reality, “as the San Marino trade union has been asking incessantly for years, it is It is necessary first to launch the organizational act of the ISS, from which the needs of all the individual sectors must then derive; therefore, the path is exactly the opposite! ”.
It is therefore necessary to “underline a trend reversal of this phase of ISS management compared to the previous ones: the shortages of administrative staff had also been denounced by the ISS directors in recent yearsbut there was no need for resources, given the limited budgets “.
And again: “Today the new Iss director declares to have received very strong political support, without spending limits and it is also for this reason that he is making proposals for pharaonic projects such as those mentioned above … In relation to the family support billIf on one hand the reorganization of the relevant regulations and the elements of innovation are positiveon the other misses the goal of preventing the problem of denatality. In fact, it does not have an expansion of services for families with children and policies for reconciling working times with family times. To the contemporary, it remains essential to act to favor full and stable employmentwhich are the essential condition for young couples to decide to bring children into the world ”.
“Among our requests”, concludes the CSDL, “there is also that of Recognize maternity allowance and postpartum leave even for those who are not employedbut show that you are looking for work, or to someone who has a recent hiring, so that the decision to have children is not postponed ”.
