The trees and the city. Route through the colors and shades of Lisbon
cleaning these days in Lisbon, we realize that the trees will pass according to the wake of a sleepy winter, suddenly like the crowns of children and a thousand tender and sparkling leaves. By the end of June, this entire grove will explode in patches of color and shadows, offering visiting Lisboners a roof that fills us with joy and amazement.
On March 20, at exactly 3:33 pm, the first equinox of the year took place. It is a fleeting moment when none of the equator poles is inclined in relation to two uniform to the Sun, which, at the same time, is inclined in relation to the equator’s axes, the same relation that allows the amount of extension. This astronomical phenomenon, etymology from Latin means “equal nights”, is the only day in our calendar whose duration and the night have the same duration. This is also the moment that marks the arrival of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere and the harbinger of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. All this is about trees. They are the ones who guide us through the seasons.
