Match plan worked out perfectly
“We were tactically well prepared for the opponent and knew that Golling had fast and high-quality offensive players,” summarized Reischl. The hosts are shifting their first line of defense back a little, only to make the spaces on the defensive significantly narrower. After winning the ball, the men in green and white then acted at lightning speed. “The team implemented the transition game excellently. Exactly as we had planned before the game,” grinned Reischl, who was served a 3-1 lead at the break. Kloiber (12′), Feldinger (21′) and Pichler (39′) provided the fruit – in between Gollings Zinic had reduced the lead to 2:1 (27′).
No goals in the second half
All in all, it should have been with the goals. In the second half, both teams met at eye level with chances here and there – but there were no more goals scored. With the victory, Eugendorf is stalking the promotion places again – the second Hallein is now four grains missing. Happy about the victory, Reischl complimented the defeated Gollingers: “They’re not up there for nothing. A good and, above all, fair team. In the end, the two teams were absolutely equal – with the difference that we attacked better and cleaner played to the end.”
The best at Eugendorf: General praise (outstanding: Feldinger (OM))
