A phenomenon, that of gender-based violence, is dangerously growing and not only because – as some would be led to think – women are more likely to report the past, but precisely because women, also by virtue of their path to achieve of equality, new forms of violence and prevarication continue immediately which seem to be accentuating rather than diminishing. For this reason, together with the work of the police and anti-violence centers – concludes the deputy mayor – the administration is working to expand cultural and awareness-raising activities, working in concert with those who are at the forefront of fighting for the fight against violence. “. The President of the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia – Romagna Region Emma Petitti also focused on the interventions of the public network in contrast to gender-based violence, underlining the maturity of the regional system and the need “for a society that must take charge of these problems, because violence against women is not a private matter but involves each of us “. A system which also includes the Police Forces, as underlined in his speech by the provincial commander of the Carabinieri of Rimini, Mario La Mura, highlighting how in our province there are “two rooms, one of which in Rimini, to accommodate and listen to the most fragile people, victims of violence, with dedicated and trained staff “.
