Toulouse will host the Whiskey Festival this weekend
Pure malt lovers will be served this weekend in Toulouse! On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May, the Pink City will host Toulouse Whiskey Festival. Here is what awaits you during these two days…
Whiskey lovers could soon discover new flavors! Indeed, the Pink City will host, on the weekend of May 21 to 22, the Toulouse Whiskey Festival, which highlighted the famous amber alcohol. Organized for four years by the Hopscotch Pub, one of the many bars in downtown Toulouse, this festival takes place on the roofs of the city since it is at the top of the Marengo arch that lovers of pure malt will meet. The event is open to everyone, from the professional in search of a new product, to a simple amateur who wishes to discover unknown flavors (in moderation).
A world tour of drinking
Regarding the festival itself, 70 exhibitors from all over the world will present their own creations. The opportunity to travel and get an idea of the different ranges that may exist. Between France, Scotland, Japan, Ireland, Australia, India or the United States, everyone will have the opportunity to live a unique experience. A shop will also be set up to leave with some beverages, and make them discover to his friends.
A whiskey from Occitania honored
In addition, one of the products presented during the weekend is from Occitanie, Le Black Mountain. Originally from Mazamet in the Tarn, this whiskey matured in barrels that contained a spirit from the South-West and refined with water from the Montagne Noire was developed by four local entrepreneurs in 2012. After conquering the palate of a good number of people, the nectar won two silver medals in the “world whiskey” category.
Practical information: The festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission between €34.90 per day against €59.90 for the weekend.
