In Toulouse, Béatrice Charlas receives the Order of Merit
Former president of the regional order of chartered accountants, Béatrice Charlas was honored for her involvement alongside companies, her professional career and her commitment to ordinal functions.
It is a great figure professional who was honored on Friday evening at the panoramic restaurant of the Belvedere in Toulouse. In front of her peers and under the direction of Christian Libéros, auditor and associate director of KPMG, Béatrice Charlas was elevated to the rank of Chevalier in the National Order of Merit. “A civil merit created by Charles de Gaulle for services rendered to France” recalled Christian Libéros in a very personal speech.
Concerning Béatrice Charlas, these are services rendered to the economic world. Originally from Gers, a graduate of the IAE in Toulouse, she began her career in 1989 at the Caumeil et Associés firm with Christian Libéros as internship supervisor. She joined KPMG France in 1998, becoming a partner in 2006. After ten years in audit, she took over the management of the accounting department in Toulouse and then, in 2016, became a member of the supervisory board of KPMG SA. In 2018, she also became a member of the South-West management committee of KPMG (360 employees for €40 million in turnover).
President of the Order of Chartered Accountants
Béatrice Charlas also devotes her energy to ordinal functions in the service of her peers. Member of the order of chartered accountants then vice-president, she was elected regional president of the professionals of the figure for a term of three in 2016 carried by “her natural authority” slips Christian Libéros. It was in 2019 that she became vice-president of the supervisory board of KPMG France. At the same time, Béatrice Charlas was also the founder of the KPMG Women For Business network.
