“Our Lady of Graces for 370 years of the capital”
The march of the procession was preceded by a mass. in the Sanctuary of St. Andrzej Bobola, chaired by his custodian, the Jesuit father Waldemar Borzyszkowski, and the homily was delivered by the rector of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, father Wiesław Kulisz. In his homily, the Jesuit recalled that on Saturday the Church celebrated the Catholic Mother of God of Graces, and Sunday is the feast of St. Andrzej Bobola – martyr and patron of Poland.

He recalled that then her image was worn in the process along the walls of the Old Town. – Today we also want to change with Mary in the procession. And with the relics of the holy martyr Andrzej Bobola – she added.
Father Kulisz that in the painting Łaskawa can be with open views, with additional arrow cards. “These arrows are broken, caught in time and harmless.” These arrows for this symbol have tied themselves, which are the second person, another person – the lord of betrayal, lies, corruption. Everything that each of us is afraid of today – he said.
“Signs of hope that victory is possible”
According to the Jesuit, “these arrows were destroyed by Jesus Christ on the cross.” – He has overcome evil by taking it upon himself. Mary shows that victory is possible, the arrows are broken – she added.
He explained that victory is also possible in the lives of each of us. – Before Mary showed the broken arrows, she did not give us her Son, she did not say before: do whatever I tell you – noted Father Kulisz.
He recalled that the “arrows of evil” had previously hit St. Andrzej Bobola, who was murdered by the Cossacks for evangelization. – But they didn’t defeat him, they didn’t destroy him. Because Andrzej Bobola, a priest, lived Jesus and his love, and he carried this love. And for this love he gave his life – introduction.
