“Me, I was not cured with a bracelet. I stayed away from home for four months. Lisa, 32, was mowed down on Wednesday, November 10, while riding her bicycle on Ramier Island. Polytraumatized, Lisa, business manager, changes her life. “My daily life was my health. I do not drink alcohol. I do not smoke. And I eat healthy to feel good about myself. All my trips are by bike. Since then, for me, now, cycling is over and it’s over forever”. The young woman spent four months in a rehabilitation center. “This accident resulted in torture, both physically and psychologically. The pains were sometimes so intense that even the strongest painkillers did not relieve them. Added to this are all my splints that forced me to immobilize, to stay in bed flat strict, she describes swinging despite everything. And then, in order to even be able to sit up in bed, I had to wear my corset which immobilized me from the spine to my head, including my jaw. To finally end up in an electric wheelchair for many weeks.”

He was sentenced to 12 months in prison, including six months on an electronic bracelet. Lisa does not digest this decision. “It’s a ridiculous sentence, he is not being punished.
