the pretty gesture of Moussa Dembélé
This Saturday evening, Olympique Lyonnais will face FC Nantes on behalf of the 37th day of Ligue 1. And for the last of the season at Groupama Stadium, Moussa Dembélé took the opportunity to perform a good action. Indeed, the attacker invited 14 young people from Cantin educational accommodation. A center which welcomes adolescents from 13 to 18 years old in social and family difficulties and which helps them to integrate better into society by providing accommodation, protection, care and socio-educational support. After giving them jerseys this year, Dembélé has therefore decided to let his big heart speak again by inviting these young people to the stadium this evening.
A great initiative that we are talking about Samir Hannachi, one of the educators who works tirelessly. “Our home welcomes young people with different problems. We have, for example, unaccompanied minors who have crossed Africa. We also help people who have been abused by their parents, raped, etc. Our team is there to help them and try to build them up as adults. The relationship between Moussa and us was tied very quickly through a friend called Philippe. He contacted his agent and thirty minutes later, I already had an answer. Before that, we had already asked a few personalities and influencers but it had always remained unanswered. As I had already heard that Moussa was very involved in associations, since he had a hospital built in Mali, we contacted him. He answered directly. Then, for someone who is not from the Lyon region, he is someone who is really attached to Lyon. He had already helped us distribute autographed jerseys to some young people in the hostel. These are small gestures that mean a lot to these young people, who are generally abandoned. That a person of his stature is interested in them and recognizes them, that gives them more than pleasure. Regarding his action this evening, I must admit that nothing was asked of him. His agent told us that Moussa intended to invite the young people from the hostel for the last home game to celebrate the end of the season and then spend some time with them. It gives us great pleasure and warms our hearts. We responded positively to his call and tonight we are going to have a good evening. He really didn’t have to. And he really does it with a good heart. It’s our pleasure. We are an association and we have some means. But this kind of relationship is priceless. It’s mostly human in the end. These young people have lived through very difficult things and for a week they have been talking to us about it, telling us: “when are we going to see Moussa?” » A classy gesture from Moussa Dembélé who will put stars in the eyes of these young people.
