Only after five minutes does Luca Witzke manage to hit the guests. Two successful attacks by Oskar Sunnefeldt first brought Leipzig to 6:8 (12th, 13th) and a little later to 8:9 (14th, 15th) thanks to a double from Patrick Wiesmach.
The foxes manage to keep their lead with good defensive work. Keeper Dejan Milosavljev made six saves. In the meantime, the lead grew to six goals (16:10).
After the half-time break, the Berliners came out of the dressing room with a lot of speed. With a 7:1 run, she shows a clear dominance and for the first time plays a two-digit lead (24:13). Again and again, the foxes took advantage of the ball losses of the Leipzig team and were able to decide the game in their favor early on.
