The orchestra of harmony La Fleurantine invites the Music of the paratroopers of Toulouse for its concert of the day of the Mothers on May 21st.
It has been 9 years since the Band of the Paratroopers of Toulouse no longer came to Fleurance. Airborne Troops Ambassador
The city of Fleurance and the music school of the CCLG, directed by Vincent Blesz, maintain strong links with military training. Moreover, three musicians of the Music of the parachutists, including Maxime Aricci and Augustin Berthier who are currently members, spoke of the benches of the music school and the ranks of the harmony La Fleurantine.
The creation of the Music of the parachutists of Toulouse dates back to 1888, it is the ambassador of the airborne troops. It is one of six military bands in the territory. The harmony orchestra is also made up of smaller ensembles and combines its role in commemorations with concerts for all audiences and educational activities. It has been directed since August 1, 2021 by second-class music conductor Mathieu Larrieu. Originally from the Gers, he studied music in Bordeaux. Among his many functions, we find that of conductor of the harmony orchestra “Les Armagnacs” in Eauze.
