The actress has put up for sale in her online store luxury sofas for an exorbitant price. She had the outcry, it was wanted.
Gwyneth Paltrow put on sale, on May 11, luxury sofas, brand “Diapér”, lined with virgin wool and infused with jasmine. This happened on his Goop site built on his notoriety. The price ? Exorbitant: 120 dollars for a pack of 12. It goes without saying that this gesture was activated in the wake of an outcry from visitors to the virtual sign.
The actress and tradesman let the affair marinate well, waited quietly for 24 hours, then revealed the pot of roses. “Were you outraged? Well it was wanted,” she wrote. “If sofas are so expensive, it’s because they are taxed as a luxury product. It is a basic necessity in States but, in 33 (Americans), their price leaves one in three families on the floor”.
In her message, the actress then encourages her subscribers to donate to the Baby2Baby association, which helps families in need.
The “Diapér” is therefore a fictitious product and its sale a pure fantasy. His crusade is a little less.
