Four new ambassadors in Monaco

Malaysia, the United Kingdom, the Ivory Coast and Ghana have their new representatives in Monaco.
Each month its ballet of ambassadors. On May 10, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister for External Relations and Cooperation received four new ambassadors during a lunch at the Hôtel Hermitage:
- Dato’ Mohd Zamruni Khalid comes from Malaysia and has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his country since 1994. He worked in the Malaysian embassies in Hanoi and Paris and in 2008 became Consul General of Malaysia in New York. He is now Ambassador to Vietnam and Portugal.
- Menna Rawlings is said to be honored to be the first English female ambassador to Monaco. First in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1989, she was then appointed Consul General in Washington in 2008. Subsequently, she became Director General for Economic and Global Affairs. After her lunch, she took the opportunity to meet political figures from the south-east of France such as Christian Estrosi or Eric Ciotti.
- Maurice Kouakou Bandaman, initially a professor of literature, became mayor of the commune of Taabo in Côte d’Ivoire. He was then elected Member of the National Assembly in 2011 and then appointed Minister of Culture and La Francophonie from 2011 to 2021.
- Anna Bossman was from 2011 to 2017, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Director of the African Development Bank. Having become Ambassador to France and Portugal, she is also Ambassador and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO and the OECD for Ghana.
