San Marino, new speed camera check in Serravalle
The Secretariat of State for the Territory, Environment and Agriculture announces the successful installation of a two-way speed camera in Via Costa del Bello, in the Castle of Serravalle, which will come into operation in the coming days. Unlike previous models, the instrument will be able to detect the speed of vehicles in both directions of travel. The installation of the latest generation equipment was carried out by the Autonomous State Company for Public Works and was authorized by the road safety work group.
The same working group, on 3 December 2021, approved the installation of the boxes also in Acquaviva, Gualdicciolo and Chiesanuova.
In total there are 12 speed cameras installed in the Republic (due to Fiorentino, due to Cailungo, due to Tavolucci area, due to San Giovanni, due to Faetano and due to Serravalle) to which 4 bi-directional boxes will be added for a total of 16 monitoring that will be managed by the Civil Police.
