From Saturday, May 7, mobile phone SIM card numbers for residents of the DPR and LPR should already start at + 7, like the Russians. In the Donetsk People’s Republic, after the seven, they managed to score 949, in Lugansk – 959.
According to the Ministry of Digital Development and the Russian government, these measures are a priority, first of all, “to free the population of the DPR and LPR from the communication blockade.”
How does the promise of signalers grow? In Donbass, not just for volunteers Andrey Lysenko.
– … Andrey, hello! Where are you now?
– I’m coming from Mariupol. I can’t talk – let’s go a little later.
Here is my call 2 hours later.
– Hello! You’re back?
– Yes, they brought “humanitarian aid” to Mariupol (as humanitarian aid is called there. – A.G.)
– Did you drive your “collection” armored car?
– Yes. Unfortunately, he broke down and stayed in Mariupol. Under reliable protection. Tomorrow he will be brought to Donetsk. (This car was given to the volunteer by his friends. – A.G.)
– You should have a “Russian code”, as it is called, in your mobile communications. Is he already active? How is this generally regarded in Mariupol, in Donetsk, among the residents?
– Since we have not had a Ukrainian connection for a long time …
– But I still found the time when you had a Ukrainian connection.
– Was. Then we got our own operator, the number of calls in a large number of cases was identified and called – well, very expensive.
– And how now?
– Today people already called in a new way. They say the connection is reliable and much cheaper.
When we returned from Mariupol, there was a guy with me in the car who dialed sestru on his mobile phone, she moved to Russia – it was almost free for him. Well, at the worldwide rate. As if he called her from Russia. He says that before the international treaty, he immediately “devoured” all the money on the phone. Now you can even talk about the weather, ask – how is your health?
– It’s clear.
– Many have relatives, friends, acquaintances in Russia. And since the DPR and LPR already exist, parts of Russia happen on occasion, in the soul, this measure, regarding conversations, is very opportune.
– And, in general, the symbol itself – “Russian code” – it probably also sounds!
– Yes, another good symbol. Our population does not know the anthem of Ukraine. But everyone knows the anthem of Russia and the anthem of the Soviet Union very well.
– You mean Alexandrov’s melody.
– Yes. And, I think, the fact that on the eve of the holiday they gave us such a connection is all in one row.
– I congratulate you on the upcoming Victory Day and on the “Russian code”!
– Thank you very much.
BY THE WAY
And one more explanation:
For a new numbering, it is not necessary to replace the SIM card. All subscribers receive SMS notifications about the assigned number.
Now, as experts explain, the phone +38072-xxx-xxx-xx, which was first of all, will be designated as +7 (959)-xxx-xxx-xx when calling to Russia.
From Russia, they say, it will also be possible to call, excluding “international” numbering, directly – to +7 (959) -xxx-xxx-xx. True, I have not yet succeeded – I did the current interview on the “old connection”. maybe it’s still a work in progress…
