The historical archives of the European Union open to the public in Florence – Chronicle
Florence, 6 May 2022 – The historical archives of the Union open, the public will be able to visit them on Saturday 7 May from 10 to 18 at Villa Salviati in Florence. It will be an opportunity to rediscover the architectural and natural heritage of Villa Salviati.
The appointment will allow the public to visit well 9 kilometers of documents which represent the collective memory of the realization of the European project. The historical documentation comes from the organization’s institutions, from international movements and organizations and from private archives of personalities who have contributed to the integration process of the European Union. The event will continue throughout the afternoon and, as explained in a note, “represents for citizens and the international community an opportunity to rediscover both the architectural heritage and the history and memory of the European Union that are preserved there” .
They are on schedule visits grooming organize from Fai to Villa and, for the occasion, they will be open the caves, the gardens, the chapel. Always in Saturday afternoonthere will be amusical performance of the young artists of the regional project ‘The Tuscan school among the sounds’ directed by Gisella Cosi. It will also be possible to visit an exhibition of sculptures by Kiki Franceschi and Andrea Chiarantini.
