Monaco welcomes four new ambassadors

They are diplomats from El Salvador, Cyprus, Mexico and Vietnam.
On May 3, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counselor-Minister for External Relations and Cooperation received four new ambassadors accredited to Monaco, for a lunch organized at the Hôtel Hermitage:
- Lorena Sol de Pool retired from her career in diplomacy in 1995, occupying the post of Consul of El Salvador in Boston, then New York and Washington. Permanent Representative to the OAS and UNESCO, she is now Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of El Salvador in France.
- Georgios Chacalli joined the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) in 1989 and is, to date, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus in Monaco as well as ten other countries including Hungary, Sweden, the United States, France … He continues to hold positions of responsibility within the MAE
- Blanca Elena Jimenez Cisneros is a specialist in environmental engineering, water management, the fight against climate change and science diplomacy. Member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Director of the Water Sciences Division of UNESCO, she became, in 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico in France.
- Toan Thang Dinh joined the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1990 and became, in 2010, Minister-Counsellor, then Minister at the Vietnamese Embassy in France. He is currently Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to France, Portugal, the Principality of Andorra and the Central African Republic.
